Located in Forth Worth, Texas, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary is one of the largest seminaries in the world that equips men and women with a strong theological foundation to fulfill God's calling on their lives. Since its founding in 1908, the seminary has trained and sent out more than 43,000 graduates to serve in local churches and mission fields around the world. Southwestern seminary resembles to a university in its size and organization. The seminary is divided into six schools - The College, The School of Theology, The School of Educational Ministries, the School of Church Music, The Roy Fish School of Evangelism and Missions, and the Harvard School for Theological Studies in Houston - each with its own faculty. The school offers 18 tracks of study in areas such as corporate chaplaincy, Islamic Studies, marriage and family counseling, urban evangelism, and social work.

Leadership

Dr. Paige Patterson is the 8th and current president of the seminary, a known advocate for global missions and evangelism and also an ardent architect of the Conservative Resurgence.
